Another great week of training all round π
π‘ JUNIORS
The juniors continue to train hard and consistently. They had their fortnightly track session up in the Alsaa, and you can really start to feel a shift in the season.
The bad weather is beginning to ease, the evenings are getting brighter, and thereβs more light in the mornings. With the clocks changing at the end of March, thereβs a real sense that spring is on the way. You can feel it in the mood at training, more energy, more positivity, more bounce in the group.
It was a quiet weekend on the racing front for the juniors, but that will change soon. We have a big club day coming up at the Lusk 4-Miler where both our juniors and seniors will get the opportunity to compete together. Looking forward to that one.
π‘ SENIORS
Again, the slight improvement in weather brought a lift in energy across the group. The brighter evenings always make a difference.
A special mention to everyone who took part in Wednesday nightβs Little Blue Heroes event in support of our club member Kirsty and her son Brandon. It was brilliant to see such a strong turnout from Ballymun AC. The atmosphere and buzz around the event were fantastic and it really showed what this club is about, community first.
We now look ahead to a club only event in support of Brandon on March 14th in Morton Stadium.
Another solid week of showing up, supporting each other, and building momentum.
